On a whim one day I bought a set of cheap water colours… for the girls to play with of course, although I think I have enjoyed them just as much as my five year olds have. We’ve spent lots of happy times all working side by side painting… but I want my own set of paints because I don’t like it when they mix up all my colours! I never was very good at sharing!
So with all this messing about with real paint and paper I was really keen to somehow get that into the computer and see what it would look like on the screen. So I doodled a bit, and painted a bit and played around a bit in photoshop and made these…

Now that I have the painting bug I am keen to get a bigger and better set of water colours and paint some more things to digitize and add to my digi scrap designs. Anyone got any ideas or inspiration to share?

These look amazing Kate!The word art looks fab, maybe you could expand on that with an doodled alpha with a painted surround? Oh and maybe some cool water coloured papers – beachy ones maybe?? Anyway – I love your hearts and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
