About the Lazy Cow…
I need to be creative to survive.
Way back when (when? before I had kids that’s when!) I used to teach preschool. I loved lots of things about teaching but most of all I loved how creative I could be. I could paint and draw and make nifty things all day long, with people who loved every minute of it and, get paid for it! I have a theory that all preschool teachers are frustrated artists simply looking for a way to release their creativity. I’ve stopped teaching now to be a full time Mum (you can read more about me and my life at my other blog, picklebums.com ) but I still have a need to be creative, that is where Lazy Cow Designs comes in!
This is my creative space and I’d like to share it with you!
I’m a digital scrap booker. I’ve been digi scrapping since 2003, having stumbled across it while surfing the internet one day. Prior to that I’d already been using basic techniques and photoshop to create birthday invitations and cards for family and friends, but with the discovery of digi scrapping I was totally hooked. I started creating digital scrapbook designs in 2004. After selling my designs at digiscraphaven.com and digiscrappin.biz (both sites are no longer running) in 2006 I worked with friends to open pickleberrypop.com, an Australian based digital scrap booking site. I still enjoy helping out there as admin and watching the super talented Annette grow PBP way beyond my wildest dreams.
In the last two years I found myself being asked to create more and more custom designed cards and invitations and really enjoying it. With three small children time and money are precious things but being able to combine my love of digital scrap booking and design with making a little money has been very rewarding to me and I am excited to see where it takes me in the future!
Digital Scrapbooking
I am a digi scrapper and a digi designer. Here at LCD I post about my latest digital scrapbooking designs – available for sale exclusively at pickleberrypop.com. You can see my layouts, as well as find out who is currently on my creative team (watch out for a CT call you too could be a lazy cow!) and see what they are creating. From time to time there will also be the odd challenge, tutorial and of course a freebie or two!
If you have photos you’d like to scrap but simply don’t have the time you can order custom designed layouts. Just fill out our contact form and I’ll get back to you with a quote, or check out the faq for more information.
Custom Designs

As well as digital scrapbook layouts I specialise in creating custom cards and invitations and just about any other graphic design item you can think of. The Bloggy Bit
Apart from LCD being a place for me to show case my designs and creative side it is also a blog. A place where I can waffle on about design related stuff! You can find articles to inform and inspire you and I hope you’ll stop by for a chat every now and then.
